An epoxy painted garage floor provides you with protection as well as beauty.

Oil drips and other foreign matter will not soak into the concrete leaving stains and exposing your family to toxic fumes. The corrosive minerals from your water system will also be blocked out, protecting your cement from that decaying look around the edges.

Choose between a solid color, partial chip, or full chip epoxy for that polished granite look. The surface is easily swept and cleaned to provide years of a fresh looking show place atmosphere to greet you and your friends.

Our Products

Our products are manufactured locally and formulated to withstand the harsh Arizona climate.

We use high performance 2-part epoxy primer, providing the best adhesion possible. Epoxy provides years of service in industrial and commercial applications. It is particularly suited for use on concrete floors subjected to severe service conditions.

Additionally, this product may be applied to most generic coating types without fear of lifting or wrinkling. All of our epoxy coatings are top coated with an industrial grade solid and clear UV inhibitive 2-part solvent based urethane. Our urethane is made and developed in Arizona to withstand the harsh elements and extreme heat that we experience here. Once cured, our floor coatings are resistant to hot tire pickup as well as most chemicals. With the UV inhibitors the finish has excellent color and gloss retention.

If you have any questions about the specific products that we would use for your epoxy garage floor installation, feel free to get in touch with our team. We are always happy to speak with you about your options as well as what finish would look best in your space. We look forward to helping you in any way we can!

Our Process

01 Preparation

We begin by preparing the concrete for coating by grinding and cleaning. (Resurfacing when necessary) All dirt and grinding dust is removed from the tool joints by a heavily industrialized vacuum. proper preparation is critical to ensure the applied coatings will endure the elements for years to come.

02 Prime and Seal

Minor chips and cracks are patched and filled. Cracks are filled, minor divots are patched and tool joints are repaired. The first coat of primer is a 2-part epoxy product that is made in Arizona and is specifically designed for tolerating the Southwest climate. Epoxy primer does an excellent job of soaking in and adhering to the profiled surface as well as providing a medium for the upcoming urethane top coat applications.

03 Design Coat

Once the epoxy has been applied and is fully dry, we apply a coat of 2-part tinted UV protective urethane. Decorative chips, quarts or metallic grindings are broadcast by hand into the wet urethane.

04 Seal and Final Coating

Next, we scrape and extract any excess chips. A seal coat of UV and chemical resistant clear gloss 2-part urethane is applied to seal and lock in the color and decorative chips. On full chip finishes, a second coat of clear urethane is flooded on to give that glass look and provide maximum durability.

Epoxy floors done right will last for many years. There is a process with many steps to coating a floor. If shortcuts are taken or the process isn’t done precisely the floor can bubble, chip, and scratch off within a short period of time. Routine periodic maintenance is a breeze, take a look at our AFTERCARE PAMPHLET for more valuable information!
